OVAL BOX #DD+D (D-Type) Cherry and maple plant dyed, three-time black dye

New sizes have been added to the largest size #DD and #DDD series in IFUJI's OVAL BOX lineup.

We responded to the request for "a #DD OVAL size with a #DDD height." The #DD+D is 405mm high, compared to the #DD's 295mm. It doesn't take up as much space as the #DDD, making it a product that can be used in a wider variety of interiors than ever before.

#DD+D is an oval box that is designed to be functional as a storage tool, while also being particular about its presence and design. The balance of the oval shape, silhouette, and the shape of the joints have all been carefully considered.

Compared to the standard R-type (CANTERBURY), this taller, more voluminous silhouette is not only suitable for storing items, but can also be used as a side table for a sofa or bed in the living room or bedroom. Its coating is more water- and stain-resistant than conventional models.

Cherry, three-times black dyeing: vegetable oil paint. Wax finish. (The inside of the cherry is unpainted.)

Maple plant dye: Glass-based paint. Wax finish.

【Material type】
Cherry: The highest quality cherry logs from the United States are milled domestically and air-dried. The main body is made from a solid piece of wood, while the lid and bottom are made from veneer plywood.

Maple: Made from ITAYA Maple grown in Hokkaido and the Tohoku region. The curved body panel is made from a single piece of solid wood, while the lid and bottom panels are made from veneered plywood.
*Because it is a natural material, there will be individual differences in the grain, color, and shape.

[Handling precautions]
*Although the product is more water-resistant than previous models, it is best to avoid getting it wet. If water does spill on it, wipe it up immediately. Also, do not place hot food directly on the product.
*When using it on the floor, we recommend placing it on a felt mat or similar. Placing it directly on the floor can easily scratch the bottom. Also, please do not use it in unstable or humid places, in direct sunlight, or near open flames.
