OVAL BOX type-R
CANTERBURY (regular type)
A series that faithfully reproduces the 20th century pattern of the Canterbury community, which is the standard among Shaker OVAL boxes.
Canterbury was one of the main Shaker communities founded in New Hampshire in 1792, and later served as the headquarters of the congregation. He is also famous for being one of the first to adopt modern technology such as telephones and electricity, and for inventing the large washing machine. He was also passionate about industrial development, and became widely known for his ``Shaker Brand'' products, including wooden products. She continued to play a central role in the religious order for a long time, continuing until the last sister passed away at the age of 96 in 1992. It was designated as a historical heritage site in 1993 and is open to the public.
